Easy-to-moderate night run through Coyote Canyon. Meet at the Borrego Springs ranger station, lights check at 6:30, rolling by 7. Bring a jacket and a spare radio battery.
Coffee, tacos, and a parking lot full of Tacomas. Stock rigs welcome - half the lot usually is. We take over the top deck from 9 to noon.
Hands-on strut and coilover day. We'll install a 2in level on a member's Tacoma and walk through torque specs, alignment prep, and what to check after 500 miles.
The big one: 200+ Toyotas, judged classes for classic, truck, and track, plus a swap meet corner. Proceeds go to the trail clean-up fund.
Chains or snow tires required, recovery gear mandatory. We run 2N02 and finish with lunch in the village. Limited to 25 rigs so we don't tear up the trail.
